In January 2000, at the age of 38, Mr. Jeffrey L. Freas started his journey in the Martial Arts.

At that time Mr. Freas received a flyer about a new Christian Martial Arts class that was was being taught by Grand Master Dennis Engard at Maple Ave Christian Union Church. I've always had an interest and fascination with the Martial Arts, plus I wanted my children to know how to defend themselves. The fact it was a Christian taught Martial Arts class was made this even more appealing. So, I along with my 3 children (Deonna, Paige, and Jericho), visited Mr. Engard's class for the first time in January 2000 and have been training since.

Accomplishments:

• January 26th, 2005 - Promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt
• December 24th, 2006 - Promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt
• Place 3rd in weapons in the Striking Cobra MA Open Tournament April 7, 2007
• Place 3rd in fighting in the Striking Cobra MA Open Tournament April 7, 2007

Since then, Mr. Freas has been actively training in the American Tae Kwon Do Systems Martial Arts with Grand Master Engard and actively teaches class too.
