Crockpot Mixed Berry Cobbler

Choose your favorite berries to make this simple crockpot cobbler.
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups sugar; divided
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs beaten
2 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
4 cups frozen mixed berries, your choice
3/4 cup water


Combine 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in medium mixing bowl. In separate small bowl, combine eggs, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients. Mix by hand until well combined. Coat 5 quart slow cooker with cooking spray; pour in batter. In medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine berries, water and remaining sugar. Heat to boiling. Pour hot berry mixture over batter in crockpot. Cover and cook on High for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Turn off cooker, leave uncovered and let cobbler stand for 30 minutes before serving.
